Welcome to Madison Elementary!  We are very proud of our students and our programs.  We believe that quality education can be achieved through high expectations of student performance and behavior.  It is essential to have a strong family-school-community partnership; and a dedicated, enthusiastic staff committed to providing the best education possible for our children. 

Madison Elementary offers many programs to enhance as well as support student achievement.  These programs are:

Michigan's Intergrated Behavior & Learning Initative

MiBLSi is designed to help students become better readers who use appropriate behavior resulting in increased student success in the school and community. Jefferson and Madison Elementary schools were selected to implement and sustain schoolwide Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and research-based reading interventions, resulting in the following:

  • Increasing reading performance

  • Reduced behavior problems using the PBS approach

  • Accurate and timely knowledge of student performance in behavior and reading

  • Data-driven decision making based on information about student performance in behavior and reading
