We had a JV team compete in 8 events this year too. It was a neat to be able to have all of our team members participate in the competition this year. The JV team consists of Bonnie Greene, Olivia Barkholz, Nichole Rybicki and Annie DeVoe. The JV team scores on their events were not factored into the Varsity team, but their work ethic helped to make both teams very competitive.
We would like to thank the city police for the wonderful escort back into town, and to our parents and families and friends for the wonderful welcome home! It was incredibile seeing the posters and excited supports along the route back to Manistee Middle School. The faces on the students during our ride back into town was awesome. They were so excited and proud of themselves. It was very heartwarming to be received back home in such style!
We want to extend more thank-yous to our coaches Vern Robinson, Greg Williams, Charles Showalter, Dave Stewart, Bob Buck, Laurie Blevins, Kathy Schoenberger, Mike Meagher and Kathy Meagher for all of your time and patience in working with the students.
